Using the Ogden City Cemetery Website

Zoom In |
Click the option left of Zoom In. Click on the map once to zoom in. Click again to zoom in more. If you zoom in enough, labels will appear showing the name of deceased in each space. |
Zoom Out |
Click the option left of Zoom Out . Click on the map once to zoom out. Click again to zoom out more. |

Pan |
Click the option left of Pan . Click on the map left, right, up, or down to move the map in that direction. |

Identify |
Make sure the Identify button is pressed. Click on the map once to get information on that location. |

Full Extent |
Clicking the Full Extent link will zoom the map to its full view. |

Search by: |
Deceased's Last Name |
Enter the deceased person's last name and click submit. To narrow your search, type in the last name followed by a comma, space then a letter or two of the first name. Use an asterisk for a wild card. Example: Smith, j will return all smiths with a first name starting with a 'J'. *elly will return all names (first and last) that contain elly. Kelly, etc. Note: there is a built in wild card on the end of all searches so an asterisk is not needed at the end of the string. |
Deceased's Mother's Maiden Name |
Enter the deceased person's mother's maiden name and click submit. This function works the same as the Deceased's Last Name search. |

Deceased's Father's Last Name |
Enter the deceased person's father's last name and click submit. This function works the same as the Deceased's Last Name search. |

Deceased's Birth Date |
Enter the deceased person's birth date and click submit. The format must be yyyy-mm-dd. Note: there is a built in wild card on the end of all searches so an asterisk is not needed at the end of the date. Therefore, if 1942 is entered and submitted, all birthdates in 1942 will be returned. |

Grave Location |
Enter the deceased person's Grave Location and click submit. Note: there is a built in wild card on the end of all searches so an asterisk is not needed at the end of the location. If you're not sure of the location of the deceased person, do a search by deacesed's last name and refer to the information provided for location. |

Location |
Click on the Location link and the map will show where in the cemetery the burial is by a red star. |
Expand Records |
After a search is acheived, click on the arrow to the far left of a record you wish to see more information on. This will expand to show more information. Click on the arrow again to return to the limited view of the record. |

Other: |
Printing |
Clicking the Print Page link will take you to a new window that is formatted to print the map and information about the deceased. To be sure the printed page has the information you want, verify the grave location has a star with a label on the map. If records are the only portion you wish to print, highlight the portion desired, right click, and select the print option. |
